Dragoon buffs and Ninja nerfs coming Dec 9th in patch 2.45

Well, yes, actually.

If it buffed the whole partys dps by 30% each, It'd be like adding 2 people worth of dps, making up for losing out on your dps. Meaning the damage of the party overall would actually be higher if it was 8 man. This comment is really stupid. Plus the argument is that NIN dps is HIGHER that even MONK while ALSO having a dps boost for the whole party. You don't see a problem with this? Then you must be a blind ninja main.

My comment must have seemed really serious to you if you saw the need to respond to it over a week later just to suggest that I'm stupid or blind. If your Ninja's DPS is higher than your Monk's with the same ilvl, you're probably doing something not perfectly right on your Monk. And just in case you didn't know, you can edit your previous post to circumvent the character limit, for one, and to save up on your 10 posts per day limit as well.

People defending ninja are blatantly wrong. I have a monk and Ninja at the exact same item level, and I main the monk. I hadn't played the Ninja in over a week, so my rotation was rusty. We compared the damages, the ninja was higher by like 30 dps, even with a rusty rotation.

You don't see a problem with that?

This having been said, I love ninja, and wish they would have nerfed them in a smart way that kept them fun. Like, Remove Huton so ninjas no longer get the speed buff, but then change the mudra combo to do something flashier and cooler. I always thought it weird that all of the 3-mudra combos are fairly lack-luster. You'd figure one would be a big crazy burst? I guess one of them kind of counts because it lets you backstab without stealth...

I think your mnk is the problem, not your nin.

Why? It is because mnk still beats nin in ST damage. The gap is not anywhere close to as big as the mnk/drg gap, but it is still there. I still don't see why people think mnk should be the top ST damage king. I hope a dps class comes along at some point and dethrones mnk.

Because SE wants MNK to be the ST Damage King.

That being said, yeah, his MNK is definetly the problem. My Ninja never won over my MNK in the same ilevel.
