Stop turning in quest items the hard way

Haha I've been using the easy method since the game came out and it never occurred to me that other people might not have figured it out but this thread makes it apparent that lots of people don't know this. I'm going to have to ask my buddies who play with controller if they know this now. Good advice OP.

Lol this. It was the first thing I tried, pretty sure the game even tells you you can deliver items that way in the active help... And I'm a newb to FF14.

Honestly they should just remove the quest item inventory pop up, and just make us deliver the god damn item directly. There is no need to present the inventory if you just right click -> left click the item and then click Hand over.

They could even just not have us do this at all and just turn in the quest directly...

It's another useless "feature" which only wastes more time than necessary ^^

I think I found out about this around the same time there were all those 2.0 server errors and no one could log in right. Edit: Wow! I can't talk right. Semi-fixed sentence now...

Spam 0 on the numpad and you can fly by dialog, slap confirmations, drop off items, and log you in (as OP said sometimes confirmation doesn't work though).

I would suggest anyone who did not know this go back and read through the Active Help guides, just incase there are any other missed qol tid bits. This was covered fairly early in those when controller was selected for input, appearing when you are first introduced to being the golden pizza deliveryman of lore in msq2.

The active help guide is different depending on which input you have selected at the time, and is very easy to turn off intentionally or not at the very start. I also do not recall the kb/m version mentioning this shortcut at all, just clicking on the item.

Whatever happened to that thread, where people were posting all these QoL things in game, and everyone was like oh wow i never knew that. There was tons of things in there. I remember mainly because the QoL item OP is bringing up, I brought that same subject up in that thread long ago...
