Bayohne, this is great to hear. However, this raises serious questions about how SE play-tests their game. How do things like this slip past? Seems like it should be on a checklist when adding/moving mobs (Do the monsters interfere with DoL). Whats the deal?Checked with the devs about there being NMs and other high-level enemies near gathering points for certain levequests such as those found in "Mining Treespeak." Gathering point, and monster placement adjustments will both take place soon. We will also be making adjustments to some of the Halatali and Camp Iron Lake levequests where there exist similar problems.
Awesome!!!
There is a pack of Kobolds on the other side of the iron lake which makes fishing leve pretty much fail, unless those mobs have wandered too far from the point you can slip through xD
Oh and the chest that spawns often right in the middle of that pack lol
Sorry if this was stated in earlier posts i just couldnt resist and express how hard gathering leves got after the latest patch
I'm in complete agreement that having these kind of Enemies near ALL of the leve points is ridiculous, I just hope they don't take them all away and make it pathetically easy..
This is something that has always annoyed me. Not only with gathering but some of teh combat leves as well(why make a leve for level 30 have 5-10 mobs that aggro all over the target area? Makes little sense to me. More so when they have talked about fixing this forever and seem to only make it worse.
but honestly at this point the gathering stuff needs to be fixed. Considering we have no real way of fighting back they should maybe make the mobs just not aggro DoL classes at all. It's not like that would unbalance or break anything. We have already seen plenty of mob placement tweaks so how in the world the gathering related stuff which has been brought up countless times hasn't been fixed is beyond me.
Don't make me angry or I shall cut down all the trees and laugh as you can't breath!!!
thank the 12 for that..Checked with the devs about there being NMs and other high-level enemies near gathering points for certain levequests such as those found in "Mining Treespeak." This wouldn't bother me if it weren't for the fact that leves are timed - the extra aggressive mobs usually make me fail the leves because I run out of time from fighting all the aggressive mobs that ARE NOT a part of the leves.
Either make the mobs non-aggressive while doing leves or increase the leves timers for those that are near aggressive mobs or place the leves in non-aggressive mob areas, whichever is better for programming costs.
Honestly do some of you even hear yourself? Unplayable? Really? How is it we can whine and whine about the game being to easy and not enough challenge and then turn around and whine the second they make it just a little bit hard? Choose where you gather carefully, plan things out, pick your leves from areas you know wont give you a headache, and use a strong DOW class to clear the area before hand if need be.
Also, we can raise issues to the dev's attention with out being so dramatic.
