    You can make your mage look like a tank if you're glorious legacy master race and saved your dated gear. What it should say is:

    A22: Unfortunately, there’s a certain image that we would like to sustain for FINAL FANTASY XIV legacy players. We feel that it would confuse the new players legacy players if they see new player casters in heavy armor and tanks in mage gear.
