Why is chocobo porting so limited?

I want to be able to go from Saint Conaich to Ul'dah and Saint Conaich to Fallgourd Float.

I can only imagine the conversation that would happen for Saint Coinach to Ul'dah.

"So we're adding a route from Saint Coinach to Ul'dah? Wouldn't just take us straight through Castrum Centri, one of the Garlean bases?"
"Yeah, but don't worry! They know not to attack these chocobos and their riders!"

Not that I'm against it. XD i wouldn't mind such a long ride sometimes.

Who said you'd need to go through castrum? o_O You can go this route:

• Saint Conaich (Get On)
• Fallgourd Float
• Bentbranch (North <> Central)
• Buscarron's Druthers
• Camp tranquil
• Camp Drybone
• Black Brush
• Ul'dah (Get off)

Who said you'd need to go through castrum? o_O You can go this route:

• Saint Conaich (Get On)
• Fallgourd Float
• Bentbranch (North <> Central)
• Buscarron's Druthers
• Camp tranquil
• Camp Drybone
• Black Brush
• Ul'dah (Get off)

Teleporting would just be faster and probably cheaper than using a porter to go such a long way and you wouldn't endure several load screens either.
