    Mercy Stroke Improvement?

so like i don't know what could be done about it. but i would love it if i didn't miss the heal because of auto-attack! ^_^

it should also be taken note of that my auto-attack was disabled BEFORE using Mercy Strike. i have the icon from general actions slotted. as to not wake up sleeping enemies when target cycling.

I am not War main, but have been using mercy stroke on other melee classes.

IMO the CD is too long (same thing for NIN assassinate). It should be reduced considering BRD got the same ability on a 12sec CD.

Also the healing factor it inst really exciting.

Misery's End is crazy at 12 seconds, my biggest issue is that it takes a full second after the mob drops below 20% before you can use it.

Mercy stroke would be better if the healing window was larger. Like maybe it would place a mark on the mob so that as long as it dies within 5 seconds of the attack, you'd get the heal.

I would like this very much, or at least some other reasonable benefit. As it stands, the healing benefit is kinda hard to get in my experience, just because DPS is absolutely ridiculous. Even in STR accessories I can't measure up to the damage some of these people are putting out, and certainly not enough to time a relatively small attack as the last hit.

The cooldown on Warrior is a little lower due to a trait (40 seconds instead of 90).

Yes, it is very hard to time it for the final hit but when you do and get the heal as Warrior, it's a big one.

At lv110+ it should heal you for 2000+ HP.
    That's the same amount of a Cure2 from a lv110 WHM...
A little less than a lustrate if you have VIT accessories, and little more than a lustrate if you have STR accessories.

It helps on dungeons when doing large pulls, but it's too "random" to rely on it.

When I farmed Ramuh EX, I used to solo DPS the add behind Ramuh when solo tanking the fight (so the melee wouldnt get cleaved, cuz someone always does).

Timing the last hit for that 2k heal really helps the healers.

Well, yeah, but the point isn't that the heal is bad. The point is that the heal is damn near impossible to get as the DPS keeps getting higher and higher. It just makes it unreasonably difficult to time properly.

I agree that it needs to have a wider window for healing.
