Nope. I'm tired of seeing XI NPCs because I'm fairly sick of the player being used as a jobber for every other one in CSes, when we're at the point in that game where I should be able to tap them on the head with a twig and cause them to explode in a shower of gibs.

Just put the damn Shantotto in ARR already so people stop asking for her every month and then maybe we can focus on developing some new actually interesting NPCs and their story lines.

You're right, they're obviously naming the gem after the Shatotto Architects company...

It's obvious the BLM stone is named after Shantotto. They removed the "n" only to make the name more Lalafellin-naming-conventions-friendly.

I agree that the Thaumaturge from the Fifth Astral Era is named in reference to Shantotto from FFXI, but they aren't one in the same. Much like how Doga and Unei from the Crystal Tower story are named after characters from FFIII, but they aren't literally the same characters.

I assume the N was dropped to avoid confusion when the Tarutaru herself visited Eorzea.

I don't argue that, just that the BLM Soul Gem is not referencing to her as Wobble was saying.
