    Amazing patch. The QQ'ing over it should more or less be ignored. Two weeks ago this was an "MMO" that could be played while AFK with absolutely nothing to do in it but grind. Now it's got a battle mechanic that requires the player to play and it has content that gives him/her a reason to. The dungeon was great and Batraal really gave us a taste of how cool future HNM's can look.

    Next gen Tiamat? Can't wait!

    We all said in the beginning that FFXIV had unlimited potential but I think somewhere in the last ten months we had lost sight of that because of how boring standing in town became. Now we see that potential starting to be fulfilled.
    This game is on the right track now and I suspect in a year from now it'll be something really incredible.

    I have zero problems with the patch, but I had to ask... How could you afk play two weeks ago? We didn't have auto-attack. If you didn't push buttons, nothing happened. Unless you are referring to botting which, if I'm not mistaken, is still possible even with auto-attack. Probably more so.
