Doesn't seem like an issue. Other AAA mmorpg titles have individual dot damage displayed. It's very difficult to conceptualize how much damage summoners and scholars do while playing the class because most of your damage is amalgamated.For number 2, it will be too easy for people to not put their DoTs up. You can see the DoTs of all the classes, so you know how many people are keeping their DoTs up. If you remove this then people can slack off easier in combat and make fights drag out longer and make it harder for everyone else.
You could always slap some DoTs on a dummy alone and see what comes out. If you don't have dummy access (which you should, there are ones in Whitebrim if you don't wanna jump into residential zones) you could take the damage dealt by Ruin or something and math the potencies to find the average of each DoT tick.
