    As long as people can let their suspension of disbelief explain why a barefoot character remains the same height when they equipp any footwear, I have nothing against a barefoot flamour option. More sandal options would be appreciated as well.

    * The sad thing is that FFXIV turned RDM into a turret, and people think that's what it's supposed to be. It's supposed to combine sword and magic into something more, not spend the bulk of gameplay spamming spells and jump into melee for only 3 GCDs before scurrying back to the back line like good little casters.

    I think it's their cheap solution to not having to readjust character height for different type of footwear.
    What you'r asking is actually not as easily done as you suggest, as bare feet would need them to readjust the positioning of your character closer to the ground when no shoe-sole is present.
