Mahisha is silly.

Square-Enix, please prevent Mahisha from spawning in O'ghamoro Mines. There's no way that thing's reasonably able to fit inside there, there's no room to fight it, and even seeing it is a gigantic pain. I just tried to heal a party fighting it and didn't even get any credit because I couldn't even target the damn thing to attack it once because it was always out of my "line of sight", even though I could see it gyrating around the entire cavern.

How does he even fit in there? He's a jerk!

Fought him outside this morning. Finally got to see his head, and I know now why he hides it so often. I look at the coords when he pops and I have a "just say no" policy if he's on the mines

That at least makes a -little- sense. Miners used to take caged canaries down into mines with them, if the bird died, they knew not to go that way because the air was bad, or something along those lines =)

I don't think miners would haul a gigantic 10 foot tall bird of prey into a mine just to act as a canary...

it'd be defeating the purpose of a canary anyway since anything THAT big would take more noxious gas to kill than you would.
Also a dog or chocobo would suit the purpose of guard better

Mahisha is pretty dumb in the tunnels, he does the usual huge AoE attacks S rank mobs do and there isn't anywhere to run away to so he wipes out all the tanks and melees, then he starts oneshotting all the ranged until the entire server is laying around dead in the tunnels. Also it's impossible to see which direction he's facing so he just cleaves everybody when he turns and every time he kills another tank who can't be healed because the tunnels LoS all the healers he turns to another one. I've seen 50+ people laying around dead when Mahisha is in the tunnels before. Mahisha really shouldn't be spawned inside the mines like that.

I remember once it took a half an hour just to kill the bastard when he spawned in the mines. It does suck when he spawns inside the mines. I have cool pictures of all the carnage he causes with dead Eorzeans all over ground. I love those shots!
