I use this controller and love it. Sure its "ancient" because it uses a cord but its more than long enough for my needs and its reliable. That and it was only $25, much cheaper than the other options mentioned.

Your about 5hrs too late, unfortunately :\
Barboron, thankyou for your time.. i spent hours trying everything to fix it.. I downloaded softwares for dead zones, already jigged around usb's because they are underpowered, i adjusted the sensitivity to different levels all the way to 100 and the camera still span.
I know its software side because both controllers are doing it but for the LIFE of me i just can't fix it.. i have tried everything! even in the controller setup screen it's registering an imput when the sticks move around in their sockets, the X and Y values never stay in the middle and as you know with the official xbox reciever there is no dead zone to configure.
Unfortunately i bought a new one and i really don't like it.. but i was literally trying to fix it from 6am in the morning to about 11am trying programs and reinstalling drivers etc etc..
If I can get them working again i will sell the logitech on ebay.. its a lesson learned.. but i couldnt fix it.
