i realize this is probably asking a dumb question but you are aiming to get the killing blow with Mug right?

EDIT: after re-reading the tooltip, it will only proc when loot drops normaly as well as meeting the killing blow requirement, which i remember taking noticing when i got the skill to begin with.

None of what you have said is true. It neither needs to be the killshot or even close and I've seen plenty of times with just the "additional loot mugged" message being the only loot.

I assumed it was the killing blow as well, apart from the 1-2 times I got additional loot the first few days I had it... I've had nothing since, me thinks 2.41 changed something...

I've gotten exactly one extra loot from Mug in the time I've gotten Rogue to 40.

I'm not sure how many times I've gotten extra loot via mug as I really haven't been paying that much attention to it...till today.

Used it several times today (not sure how many times...wasn't counting), largely to test, I did, in fact, get a mug proc. Once. So it IS working...just...really sucky rate, it seems.

Thank you all for your replies. I did some more testing this weekend! I tested a whole bunch of mugs with and without the Wasp buff. I actually got it to work!

I tested Mug for a few hours with/without the buff (I didn't count the number of times). Without the buff I mug proc'd 0 times. With the buff, I proc'd 3 times.

Take that for what it's worth; it's just a very low chance, especially in comparison to a few weeks back I was getting 3/10 kills with procs. RNG

It's an useless add effect... the proc is very low.

It almost seems like Mug somehow got broken when they were doing patches / hotfixes. It's to the point where it's almost "pre-2.4 atma drop rate" low. I did some testing for about an hour with no buffs up and got ZERO procs on Saturday.
