    You can't convince people that don't want to learn. The good PvPers will always focus on learning how to make their class work rather than complain on the forums.

    Blm nerfs have been a bit over-the-top, to the point that they need an sch or whm to auto follow and spam stoneskin or sch's cure II (forgot the name of the skill that gives them a shield effect). Most Blm's can simply just run around and sleep spam scath. There single target damage is great but they need to hold still a good 5sec to get it going, and most ppl that hold still that long are dead.

    Ok, I'm a bit late to the party, but I do want to chime in. My go to classes in PVP are BLM and SCH.

    The original post was about spell-casting in PVP. Not BLMs, or BLMsvsSMNs or how much of a glass cannon (fun term, will come back to it) the BLM is. But about spellcasting in general and what I can say about that is reduced to: Fffffffrustrating!!!!111one1eleven

    Keep in mind I'm not saying it's not balanced and I'm not saying you can't work around the mechanic. All I'm saying is: casting is not fun and it should be! Now, there are numerous possible solutions out there, solutions which could be debated endlessly till the severs go down, but almost all of them would fix the casting-is-no-fun issue and therefore I believe implementing one of these solutions and then making the necessary adjustments to maintain balance would be the way to go. But that's just me...

    Now, about the BLM debate: whoever says that BLM in their current state are weak, they have no idea what they are talking about.

    In the opening lines I used the term "glass cannon" and I'm now coming back to it because it actually does the BLM justice: left alone, I can build up to so much burst damage I can make your tank/dps/healer evaporate so fast that you blow that benediction CD and it still doesn't land ; however, throw a rock in my general direction and I run screaming like a little girl (or I bind, sleep, cast some fire, scathe kite, bind, heal myself, sleep, booooring, kite, kite..... I generally die). And that's the way it should be.

    No, I don't expect to win in 1v1, but I do every once in a while. However, when I do, it takes pretty much all I have to offer in terms of CCs and skill rotations. And I'm ok with that. Because my role is not to blow things up by myself. My role is to stay with a team, even a small one, sleep, bind, and whenever I get a moment to myself, melt the face of the enemy healer or of the DPS that's pestering my healer. The BLM is fine just the way it is.

    TL;DR
    Fix the annoying interrupts and rebalance the game afterwards.
    In the current system the BLM is fine just the way it is.
