It's 3 strikes before it starts enforcing the 30 minute lockout for declining DF prompts, which lasts until the "strike reset".

As for you getting a 30 minute lock out cause someone else joined in as you left...well tough luck. That hasn't been changed for a long time now. Could've just done a vote for abandon instead.

Indeed. I also would like it if the time was reduced from 45 to 30 seconds instead.

So where did the lockout for a day theory come from if it's only a 30 minute lockout each time you decline DF prompts?

And most likely have it end up being rejected, then I'm forced to waste more time wiping because one of two people still think the run is possible, and judging from how it was going before I left, there was no chance whatsoever.

Players who select Withdraw from the Duty Ready confirmation window or allow the window to time out without making a selection three times or more in one day, will be temporarily prohibited from registering for duties via the Duty Finder.
This count will reset every day at 9:00 a.m. (PDT).
It only mentions that they will be temporarily locked out for registering duties via DF, and the count (meaning the strikes) will reset at 9:00. What it doesn't mention is how long the lockout is in this case (which is 30 minutes).

Then oh well. If the party was that intolerable for me, I'd just leave immediately and deal with the 30 minute lock out (esp when it's too soon to vote abandon). It's just that this particular issue is not new, and you bringing it up now (along with the aforementioned decline-lock outs) makes it seem like this is a big problem because of the DF lockouts. They probably can just add some sort of vote timer if the entire party wants to requeue into DF to fill in empty spaces; It gives time for peoples who want to leave to follow suit, and still follow the majority vote (so trolls can't single handedly slow down the entire party.)

My problem is that the lockout applies even when you're queuing for something as a full party (and every dungeon has to be done like this except for final coil).
