Post 2.4 I did about 15 ST Runs and got 5 Sand and 4 oil. I've been doing other stuff but about to level up my alt job so going to be back shortly.

Also 2 sand and 1 oil where Queues in progress when I pop on the 2nd last boss.. perk of being a healer.

My luck with oil/sand hasn't been too bad, but then again I'm not in a rush to gear a bunch of alt jobs either. Odds are, in that many runs, you can get some gear drops from ST. Buy soldiery gear for the slots that need the upgrade, and apply sands/oil to those ones first. Even if you don't have all slots at i110, you'll still be well-geared for most of the content in the game at this point. If you want to get into more advanced stuff, won't you want to move on to poetics gear anyhow? Unless I'm mistaken, Oil/Sands won't help you there.


Oh, and because I just noticed this in a sig:

Commendations.
If I play dps I only give it out to other dps.
If I play tank I only give it out to healers.
If I play healer I only give it out to tank.

Only if they should be getting a commendation.

Sounds like a very poor system to me. By all means, try to balance the roles who get commendations, but it sounds like you are just doing it according to what you are playing, rather than who was the best contributing player.
