How many Frontlines on Average does it take for R38?

400ish matches from 1-40.
@Divided comparing the time it takes to get gear from content with a weekly lockout vs. content you can grind isn't a fair comparison. If anything, the time it takes to get individual pieces of gear is about the same across all types of content (e.g. the time it takes to get i100 gloves is about the same in PvP and PvE) but the time it takes to be able to use that gear is totally different.

433 matches and i'm rank 45. It was closer to 350 matches to get to rank 40. At 5 matches a day thats 10 weeks and 5 matches a day is maybe 2 hours of pvping a day. You can play more on weekends if you so choose so its about 2 months for a "casual" (i know tahts relative) to get to rank 40. You feel like it should be easier? How much easier do you feel like it should be? Currently i think the system is perfect... anything easier would feel like a giveaway and would completely devalue the reward.

Not to mention you get 40 soldiery and 20 poetics every single run! I mean come on.... why does everyone want something for nothing. FL has the most overall rewards for any end game content by far. PVP exp, wolf marks, soldiery, and poetics and you want it to give you more? Veruca Salt......

10 weeks gets you immediate access to ilvl 110 weapons for all jobs. This is more than fair.

Also, if level 80 sync stays around then SE should never need to wellfare out gear. With the moral changes the basic set is good enough.
