I do consider the armory system to be an awesome feature, but if you dislike the way they Square handles it you aren't forced into it, the option is always there to have a different character for each job like many other MMOs. This way you could receive 450 tombstones for each job.

Except that the game's support for alt characters is probably worse than its support for alt jobs. Have fun mailing items you need to one of your friends to mail to your alt.

Its almost as if people actually believe the only loot in the game is from Tomes.

Expert duty roulette gives 75 poetic each run, so 7 days would be 525 tomes a week, which means 75 would have to be discarded. Or you just need to run it 6 days a week. If you do high level and expert roulette, you can easily get 110 average a day. 4-5 various roulettes a day, and probably only need to play 3-4 days a week. Sounds very reasonable to me.

Consider that we do not get a new iLv for 6 months, rather, we'll be leveling to 60 in 6 months from the release of 2.4; 6 months is 24 weeks, 24 weeks multiplied by 450 is 10,800. It is enough for two jobs, but barely. If you did 24 multiplied by 600 it would be 14400, barely enough to even get started on a third job... Basically, find a main, find a secondary, and stick with them.

Anything more then 450 and I would feel pressure to cap and get burned out.

At 450 I cap and don't get burned out.

    Commendations.
If I play dps I only give it out to other dps.
If I play tank I only give it out to healers.
If I play healer I only give it out to tank.

Only if they should be getting a commendation.
There are always exceptions to the rules!

Honestly, I think the difficulty is that it's a straight numerical cap like it is. As much as I think it would be a bit of work (not necessarily hard work, but quite a bit of it) to implement, I wouldn't mind seeing them change the cap to "one item of a given set per week." That is, the lockout would be on the purchase, not on the collection of tomes, though you could even leave the 2,000 cap on how much we store. Basically, it would mean that you could gear for healing, tanking, or dps equally quickly as long as you're willing to farm the tomes, but you couldn't farm all those tomes into one job and progress faster than SE intends. To use the Soldiery sets as an example, you would be able to purchase one Gloam item, one Noct item, one Aural item, one Daystar item, and one Evenstar item per weekly lockout (and I may have missed a set in there). But even if you did that, your main wouldn't be gearing up any faster than it is now, and there'd be no need to farm past the point where you buy the gear you're actually going to use.
