I think that one final patch (if 2.5 has the segments 2.55 and 2.58), the devs may make it so that we will share all of the hairstyles. And once Heavensward hits the public, there will be even more hairstyles for us to choose from. Think about it, the devs themselves said that the new expansion is going to be big as 2.0 was, but maybe bigger. Plus we have a new playable race, so the new race will have to have new or different hairstyles too. Think about it.

It has been bugging me for a little while now that Momodi has this hair maybe lil boring hair, but she has that hairpin(or whatever) that makes it more adorable. Why can't we have anything like that!

There's actually a post moogle quest about Momodi and that hairpin of hers. And to answer the question: we can't expect to get any of the significant NPC's unique looks that define them.

Can we fix the long hair glitch that cuts off/shows mixed in with the gear around the shoulders, first, please? I like having long hair on my toon, but keep going back and forth to Jandelaine to style it again when the glitch bugs me too much .... Or is this "working as intended" to make me keep spending gil on a haircut I don't like?

SE has stated previously that they will offer variety of hairstyles over fixing the clipping issues. You'll have to do some post diving to find the comments.
