I don't recall any mention of three jobs really. And we definitely aren't getting three classes if Dark Knight is anything to base that statement off of. But yeah, I really don't see us getting Gunner as a ranged DPS job. It seems to directly contradict the statement of "it's not what's expected" or however it was worded. Everyone just about expects a ranged DPS job in a similar vein to Archer, but without the support elements. A healer, on the other hand, does make sense with a few jobs that a gun job could cover.
