    Possibility of Musketeer/Arcanist in the next couple patches, 1.20 perhaps?

    Okay, as we all know the Grand Companies are out. Well, each one benefits certain classes to an extent as far as gear.

    Here is how it is going, when you can go above Recruit in a Grand Company, thus, close to permanently binding us to that company. My theory concludes that Musketeer and Arcanist might need to come out at the same time, due to the fact that people will need to choose, and if those classes are not out yet, it would not benefit those people who want to be Arcanists or Musketeers that have classes like PUG, LNC, CON, etc. They will want to go with the company that corresponds to what they currently play.

    Again, this is just a theory, and I know SE has a tendency to be like chewing on a Russian Turnip, but I find it to be a logical thought.

    I don't know if it would be 1.19, 1.20, or even 1.21, but, they will need to release them soon because they're going to be having jobs in the near future (Let us hope.)

    It would be delicious, but I get the feeling they want to nail down the current classes and jobs first personally.

    Lets balance the current jobs first before we make the game completely unbalanced again with new ones. What a genius idea, I know!

    Hmm, I don't think unbalanced is the right word. They should get each class as close to perfection as possible. However, I find it REALLY hard to stick by that statement with the job system coming soon. For all we know, the current state of the classes work perfectly with jobs...since we know little about them.

    2 more classes would be good.

    There are alot of players who all/most DoW and DoM classes ranked up. SE is putting out tons of "quest hubs" would be nice for these people to actually level up a class with the new stuff.

    But anyway, to stay on topic...I'm absolutely sure we won't see any new classes till after 1.25 or the first expansion.

    SE will implement the job system with maybe 1.21 and then, of course, have to make some tweaks to them after they release due to something bring wrong with all of them or a few of them. 1.19 will be focused towards transportation (airships and Chocobos) and crafting...not sure if they're introducing the Materia system. Not sure what their focus for 1.20 will be, but my guess is HOPEFULLY the job system, new grand company missions, and some new dungeons.

    * Conjurer nuking is lacking, but not as much as people make it seem.
    * Provoke, Taunt, and other hate generating abilities are incredibly under powered.
    * Since enmity is on a 1:1 ratio with damage dealt and heals done, this makes spells like Curaga spike your enmity beyond a safe point from just one or two casts.
    * Why is Twisting Vice still 5 AP? It reduces TP sure, but Siphon TP does that too and that's only 3 AP, we're getting damage for 2 more AP? That's a high paying trade off.


    These are just some off the top of my head, but there are more, just go down the list and really think about how classes are played and what the trends are. Most needed balances are quite obvious.

    Well, as far as CON nukes and MRD goes, I agree, however, I do think enmity is fine, as long as you have competent people enmity is no big deal.

    ARC I wouldn't say is OP still, but is still strong, it's what they do, hurt things and get one shot. They also lack in DPS, because they don't have consistent DMG like other physical DPS. They have large spikes, but so did BLM in FFXI.

    Really not much as far as unbalanced goes, other than a couple classes being under powered.
