I am already annoyed that they nerfed the loot tables with ninja stuff instead of just sharing the gear with bard. >_>

What they could consider is having the same gear drop from the coffer but when you wear it on a warrior it looks more warrior-esque and when you wear it on a paladin it looks more paladin-esque.

Same logic why you can glamour DRG AF body on Forager's Vest but it only show the DRG AF body on your character if you wear it as a DRG.
If the current character/class/job can't wear the gear that was used for glamour, it will show the original gear skin and not the glamoured.

Facerolled my num pad. But ye, with new classes (2 minimum confirmed, maybe 3?) and existing classes, giving healers and mages different sets, that means 20 (25 if 3 classes in 3.0) more items added into coffer loot tables. While only looting 2 items (and drops depend on each coffer [right or left]), it would take a miracle to drop an item for your class.

Coils already does this and as they add more classes/jobs to the game yeah you are going to find that pieces you want wont always drop unless they change the way they do things with future raids. I'm only suggesting they do the same with the tome gear. Its isn't like you roll against rng when you throw your tomes at Auriana's face and grab your gear.

The could also do it like the current expert dungeons.
You would get some type of tokens from the chests for the different gear slots (head, hands, body, ...) and then you can give the token to a NPC and can choose the gear you want for this gear slot.

That would be nice, though it means everyone would be rolling on the same tokens. It would be fine with statics as you would pick and choose who gets which upgrade to help progress the best, but in random pugs it would just cause drama I think especially if people roll on pieces they already have (atm you cant obtain more of a unique item but if they were tokens you could have the chest piece per say and still roll on the chest token). Its less so in the new experts because the tokens are only traded for i90 gear rather than BiS opportunities so people are using it mainly to gear secondary and tertiary jobs.

It should be restricted as u swore ur alliegence with the gc u chose.
It's their uniform which means it's only worn by them.
Similar to how u get flame seals only if ur with the flames.
We can't have everything now can we aye?
