I do agree.. but that means more clutter and more slots used up. It maybe more work for SE... but I dont see why they can have two versions of the gear, one that looks like "PLD" gear and one that looks like "WAR" gear.. and they can both wear them?
They really should just make individual sets for each class/job rather than lumping casters, healers and tanks together.
Makes sense why you can't. I don't think any of generals would like it their people didn't support their GC. I did look at the Adders stuff and I like it a lot more than Limsa on some cases but I will live and glamour it on with pride! Looks like you should jump on over to the Adders...I will see you on the battlefield. Till sea swallows all.
Facerolled my num pad. But ye, with new classes (2 minimum confirmed, maybe 3?) and existing classes, giving healers and mages different sets, that means 20 (25 if 3 classes in 3.0) more items added into coffer loot tables. While only looting 2 items (and drops depend on each coffer [right or left]), it would take a miracle to drop an item for your class.
Coils already does this and as they add more classes/jobs to the game yeah you are going to find that pieces you want wont always drop unless they change the way they do things with future raids. I'm only suggesting they do the same with the tome gear. Its isn't like you roll against rng when you throw your tomes at Auriana's face and grab your gear.Facerolled my num pad. The could also do it like the current expert dungeons.Coils already does this and as they add more classes/jobs to the game yeah you are going to find that pieces you want wont always drop unless they change the way they do things with future raids. You would get some type of tokens from the chests for the different gear slots (head, hands, body, ...) and then you can give the token to a NPC and can choose the gear you want for this gear slot.
what they should do...is craft :L
just like the coliseum shawl and stuff, 'cept the armor itself will be thrown into the mix make it 3-4 stars and bam we're golden
Or they could just, you know, use the token system they've added to the new expert dungeons? :PFacerolled my num pad. OP I'm going to have to disagree on this one. If you want to use a certain GC set then you should be a member of that GC. It's like asking to be able to wear PLD gear when you're a BLM... if you want to wear it then switch to whatever lets you wear it. Why don't you just change GC?
