    wait, overlap? so you have a spot where you can stay still and not move when executing skills that need rear/back? that's called "dumbing down".

    I REALLY don't think that's what the devs were going for when they designed some skills to be more efficient from the flank and some from the beck. They MEANT for players to have to move constantly to maximize their dmg output.

    For DRG it isn't just more efficient to hit flank or rear - it totally shuts down your rotation if you don't. The rear hit box is the most challenging (frustrating) to hit.

    I think you either relax the hit boxes or remove positional requirements. The first seems a less radical course. Increasing the potency could help, but the problem is getting that hit in the right spot.

    I like moving around as DRG - that's why I play it as an alt to BLM - but there needs to be some payoff for putting in the extra effort of dodging attacks, running in circles to catch spinning hit boxes etc.

    Kind of in agreement here. Your "current" graphic also shows dead zones. There are no dead zones atm, you are either front, flank, or rear.
