You can easily cap poetics in 4 days doing daily expert and trial roulettes and a couple of ST runs. Doesn't take much effort to cap poetics. Getting soldiery is more painful. However, it will likely be raised in the next patch I hope.

Best way to get soldiery right now is actually helping new players through content and getting the first time soldiery bonus. Everything else is pretty mediocre.
I don't mind helping new players through content. I do mind those ninja bandwagon who try to pass off as new players asking for "help" in PF though.
Yeah, SE seem to really hate new players when it comes to getting rewards. They removed the easier to obtain gear by putting it in higher ilvl dungeons, and yet made the tome rewards so scarce that players take ages to even EARN their new pieces.
Yoshida really needs to stop removing old currencies just because they release a new one. It's getting tiresome and ridiculous.

regular lv50 dungeons reward i60 - i70, plus tomes.
CT is fast and farmable for i80s
ST Ilvl is pretty low queue to get in and is farmable for i100s.
Get a new player in your ST or Scenario runs and theres a TON of Soldiery.
Do your Roulettes.
Seriously, the options for getting solid gear is pretty damnably varied and easy to do.
You can get around 300 soldiery or more and over 120 poetic or more doing all the daily roulettes. Or just do expert and high level and call it a day for easy 100 plus soldiery and 100 plus poetic. I don't think this patch is for "speed run farm-athon" attitude lol. They slow down a lot of progression and adjusted the reward from hunt so everything now takes twice as long or even much longer compared to 2.3 patch. You are suppose to savor this game anyway, and not play more than 8 hours a day![]()
CT is good for 100 soldiery if soldiery is what you want. 50 more for a new player added to the mix good for 150. The CT runs can be quick unless you get trolls wiping people and starting drama on purpose. Poetics is DR Expert and then High level, and then just snowcloak or qarn. If you just want soldiery gear, hunts are actually not bad at all, think of 20 allied seals as 20 extra soldiery since (it is actually a bit more) since the same soldiery gear is priced lower in allied seals.
You're on the same server as I am, if you need a hand beating hard mode primals and happen to see me online let me know. I don't mind queuing as scholar or something so you can get a slightly faster queue time.
It's pretty important to unlock your expert roulette if you want to have an easier time capping whatever new tomes there are. Running it 4 or 5 times a week along with other activities you participate in is generally plenty to cap your poetics.
As for soldiery the best option would probably be the high level roulette or queing for trials and getting lucky with soldiery bonus from new players, the second option here does require a slight amount of luck however.
