A much better idea.
A much better idea.
Another part of it is simply giving people options.
The "BiS" set has, and typically always has a lot of coil drops... some of us are not lucky enough to "magically" get the drops we need. Hell, on my tank we saw 1... ONE tank helm out of T6 during the ENTIRE time that the content was relevant. (On a side note, we saw about 15 sets of healer gloves, again and again and again... rng is broken somewhere on Cactuar)
When you have numerous sets available, all performing within 0.8-1.5% of the "BiS", then you have a lot more flexibility on how to go about your gearing progression.
The "BiS" set is the END GOAL, which will take a long time to complete. But while you are working towards the BiS set, you should be trying to fit your gear to match the other "high performance" sets, given what has dropped for you, and what you can afford or already have in terms of poetics gear.
Puro simply laid out something of a gearing process, along with options for how you want to spec yourself in the end.
As others have said, crit rng is kind to some, and blatantly ignores others. For the latter, (like me), the Det heavy set may be a better choice.
Those have have an "agreement" with their bard to move to a safe spot early during a predictable movement heavy fight, like T11 based on the videos, allowing you to AM over to them and save on travel time... Those people may prefer the SPD set, since they have maximized their uptime for the fight.
TLDR: Nobody is forcing this information down your throat, so dont complain when people give you options and relevant knowledge.

lmk if there's anything else
Anyone know PIE cap for new 110 crafted stuff?
Played around with it for a bit and got 506.2 DPS for pre-T13 and 515.8 DPS for BiS for Fire I x6 Rotation (294 PIE)
I've been looking into this pie build as well - came across this video which has some of the caps https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sw1D...ature=youtu.be
We get 7 pie from the SCH buff so wouldn't we need to get to 307 pie to hit the 314 cap? Trying to figure out why you have 294 pie there
3736 casts in turn 12 with 503 accuracy, 0 misses.
500 acc seems to be the minimum for t12, since there are only 187 hits with 503 acc listed in the spreadsheet I thought it might be good to add some more hits :P
You only need 302 if you cast B1 before casting thunder (so 294+3% = 302)I've been looking into this pie build as well - came across this video which has some of the caps https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sw1D...ature=youtu.be

As for the vid, he did not take in account of 133 MP for F3 coming out from UI3 phase that you get from shitty regen timing. So, you'd need 4251 MP total to be able to do T1 right after B3.
F3 + F5x6 + B3 + T1:
133 + 638*6 + 78 + 212
= 4251 MP (315 PIE = 4254)
======================================
For B1 before Thunder
133 + 638*6 + 78 + 106
= 4143 MP (302 PIE = 4147 MP)

hi guys! , i saw someone use craft gear ilv110 and meld PIE IV or III to up there mp and i think is can use fire I in 6 times...
it crazy ? your DPS is better? and i want to know how many 1PIE= ?mp
what any idea about this ?
Added Fire I x 6 Rotaion Gear Set
You need minimum of 302 PIE or 294 PIE + 3% Party Buff.
Having 315 PIE will allow you to cast Thunder before Blizzard I during MP regen phase. (See 'Spell Rotation' Page)
Enjoy.
EDIT: Best I could do with Dreadwyrm Staff + F6 rotation = 514.1 DPS fyi

We were just talking about that on posts above yours.

Considering there have been 0 recorded misses at 517 accuracy and a 99.76% hit rate at 513 I think we can safely say that 515 accuracy will be sufficient.
This lets us swap to a crafted belt (among other things) and gain 3.3 DPS.
