Can someone explain to me why people keep calling "Labyrinth of the Ancients", CT? I'm pretty sure CT stands for "Crystal Tower", which is the name of the series of raids that at the moment consists of "Labyrinth of the Ancients" and "Syrcus Tower". The Labyrinth isn't even the actuall tower. If any one duty should be called CT, it should be Syrcus Tower.

Because the Crystal Tower is made of the Labyrinth of the Ancients + Syrcus Tower.

Yet, a lot of people say "CT and ST", when they are talking about Labyrinth of the Ancients and Syrcus Tower.

This is because, at first, the only Crystal Tower raid was Labyrinth of the Ancients. CT stuck since then.

You're correct about CT meaning the full series of raids, but when LotA was the only playable part of the raid series, referring to it synonymously with Crystal Tower became commonplace and progresses to this day.

That said, I was really hoping they'd add a Crystal Tower roulette. Hopefully they do something soon because I know several players who are still stuck unable to get into Labyrinth and need it in order to progress to more relevant content. It's a roadblock specifically against players who 'missed the initial boat', which isn't fair given the extremely high value of Syrcus Tower rewards right now.

ST is fine on my server, DF queues in my experience as a DPS range from 5 minutes to around 40 minutes is highest I had to wait. The one that takes a long time and I think needs looking at is not ST but Labyrinth as hardly anyone ever goes back and helps others do that much given there is so little benefits for doing so once done it so queue times are triple that of ST. I don't think ST needs resolving but Labyrinth does.

Most people I know refer to labyrinth as lab, ST/CT they use for what comes after lab. CT is not labyrinth and people just call it CT out of habit from the days when labyrinth was as far as could go in the crystal tower storyline, labyrinth is what comes before CT and it is something you have to get through to access CT.
