I want a job focused more on support spells. Seriously, how have we not seen a Haste spell since this game was released? Garleans had that figured out ages ago! I would love for them to add a class which can not only buff the party, but could debuff the mob. And for more than a mere 4 seconds at a time.

it will never happen because SE doesn't want a job to be the "have it at all cost" in end game. It was bad enough with bard, there's no way they add a job with haste

Haste decreases cast times and increases auto attack speed significantly.

Skill speed marginally increases recast on -some-abilities. Guess which one is better.

They've already screwed up then with Ninja.. it's already become a job to 'have at all cost'. Honestly, the sooner SE get their head out of this stupid balancing act they're trying to master the sooner we can get some genuinely interesting game mechanics into FFXIV.

It's not. If you think you need a nin at all cost, maybe you should rethink a bit about the job. It's not better than any other melee at a good mastering level. Of course if the group is composed of only beginners, NIN will be better, but not for veterans...

Because Haste is completely pointless as pretty much every Job can haste themselves. Monk with GL, Ninja with Huton, White Mage with Presence of Mind, etc.
