    Question for PS4 players

    I'm weighing on whether or not I should get a PS4 but I was told that the playstation plus subscription is required for online games. Is this required for FFXIV or is it exempt due to being launched from a client?

    Not just for FFXIV, it's not required for most (or maybe even all [P2P]) MMO's on the PS4.

    Heads up tho. When I went from PS3 to PS4, I had to redo all my hotbars and crossbars ability placement. I don't know if I did something wrong or what but yeah, had to redo everything.

    you have to transfer your data to the servers before switching. should be an option on the ps3 opening menu

    yeah, maybe I wont buy plus again cause the only game I play online is this one, in fact, this is the only game I play on ps4 XD, i dont have time for others
