2.5 CT3! World of Darkness! Gear, Boss or Jobs?

We still have not seen the iconic Save the Queen sword in this game yet.

Yeah I'm hoping for weapon drops in the final boss, ilvl125 preferably. It is the final stage of an alliance "raid" so we should see some CT inspired weapons. Make the different bosses drop parts of the weapon and after you've collected all four pieces you can combine them to get one full complete weapon.

I hope the Cloud of Darkness will be a separate trial (hm and ex) that you unlock clearing CT3.
Devotee gear would look cool only on lala and miqote, so i hope SE will think of something unique and smart! :-D

Well we still got room for more since FFIII had about 24 jobs so Healers Outfits can be based on Devotes, Casters based on the Sage, MNK/Nin based on the Ninja Look and Maybe DRG based on well DRG and maybe even Tanks based on the Dark Knight gear from FFIII.

I think you're on the right track with this thought. There were a certain number of high-end jobs in FFIII that were considered the creme a la creme.

Tanks: Viking, Knight, or Dark Knight (Viking represents WAR, Knight represents PLD, and Dark Knight, naturally, represents DRK)
Dragoon: Dragoon (Which looks similar to AF, but not exactly, allowing RPers to use this gear as a more RP-friendly glamour)
Monk: Black Belt (In FFIII, Black Belt was the natural progression from Monk)
Ninja: Ninja (Duh)
Bard: Bard or Sage (Bard would be the obvious choice, but it doesn't really look all that stellar, so Sage as an alternative?)
Casters: Magus (In FFIII, Magus was the natural progression from Black Mage if one wished to remain a pure Black Magic caster)
Healers: Devout (In FFIII, Devout was the natural progression from White Mage if one wished to remain a pure White Magic caster)

I hope AF2 is introduced. I'd much more love it to be an elaborate quest rewards but, seeing how SE likes to make everything of any value a drop, I'm crossing my fingers that it's at least a CT3 drop so we can finally have some armor drops from CT that don't look hideous.

I would like to point you to the Heavensward trailer.

However, I personally just hope we're not gonna end up cosplaying the bosses again. (How are you gonna cosplay as the Ahriman anyway?) I won't say CT's armour drops were amazing in the look department but they sure as hell beat ST's hideous outfits.

Honestly I'm more hyped about how the instance will look and the music, while the novelty of ST already wore off it really left me impressed when it first came out, and loved the music too, can't wait to see what they will do with WoD.

In terms of music and design all three CT > any other instance in this game, not even coil is close, not even t9.
