If you're spamming ruin 2 hoping for more auto attacks, stop. I can make my MP last about 6 minutes against a dummy with proper weaving

Well, I Ruin 2 before each Fester (Ruin + Ruin 2) and Ruin 2 for each Off CD ability. I drop dramatically @/ @

On long fights that have a lot of movement and no real breaks it's going to be impossible to keep a max DPS rotation going without the help of a BRD. Anyone who tells you otherwise is either lying or isn't maximizing their damage. You shouldn't be using ruin II unless you're weaving it in with an off GCD ability or you're moving to dodge something.

Try and fit two off GCD moves per instant cast instead of ruin 2 for each one. It takes one second to use an off GCD so while not always you'll generally get 2 off within one instant cast period if you mash enough. Say for the opener I use rouse and spur after swiftcasting shadow flare.

And you may want to delay a swiftcast shadow flare just a bit if it lets you work in a fester, rouse or aetherflow to stretch your MP further. Or wait a bit on a fester if you're going to re-apply bio soon and aetherflow isn't about to be up anyway.
