Well I tried for a good hour tonight with no luck. The second rotation posted here seemed easier to follow, but at best I still only got up to 28% quality even with 11 stacks of Inner Quiet. Seems you have to hit Byregot's on a Good/Excellent or you may as well Reclaim and start over. These are so frustrating. -_- I feel like giving up on crafting at this point.

Well whoever tested this, had to see the problems with trying to hq it, they had to of but of course it was released anyway

I've had no problems doing then, 3 in a row on alchemist without the new tool, bsm carp and lthw all done, I hmjust havnt had time to make the other 4 yet

Care to share what you've been using for a rotation and/or your stats? It'd be helpful to those of us struggling.

28% with an IQ 11? Are you using great strides and HQ mats?

How does Reclaim work?

If I'm to understand correctly. When triggered you are given a buff that when the synthesis fails I would then have a 90% chance to reclaim the materials used in the synthesis.

That being said, I have now used Reclaim in the last 6 attempts and 4 out of those 6, I did not get my materials back. I use Reclaim when I have 10 Durability remaining.

Am I doing something wrong? Am I using Reclaim incorrectly? or am I just the luckiest person at failing? My wife was suggesting that perhaps it's not actually 90% chance to reclaim, but only under certain conditions. (like maybe the % grows up to 90% depending on how much durability is remaining). I have no idea, which is why I'm asking for help here. This is seriously getting expensive.

It was just a string of bad rng you got. As long as you use reclaim before you fail it's 90 percent to retain the materials. You will however always lose the clusters/crystals/shards.

Unfortunately, this is accurate. The best you'll get is in the 20-30% ranges if your BB doesn't land on a excellent with great strides.

You say accurate, but I can just as easily provide a counterexample.





12 normal condition touches, 11 IQ stacks, normal condition BB, 58%.

The difference between our final quaility is 700 or so points. I was only at 10 IQ stacks; didn't get as many hasty touches as I would've liked in the end
