Attention devs: Game Surveillance Unit re: open world Bots.

They could ban by billing address and/or corporate credit card accounts entirely and knock out a ton of RMT.

They aren't doing anything and thinking there is some "Strategy" is just wishful thinking.

They should add gil to the cash shop and put the bots out of business.

They are now botting in Mor Dhona X18 Y17...hello Square Enix?? Would you care to ban these 4 bots please who have been cheating all day every day in this game for many months?

Now they are all botting in Eastern La Noscea..probably for Raptor Skins. Normally I'd go and screenshot them and provide coordinates but since I'm being completely ignored I'll just keep updating this thread.

These bots are back in Mor Dhona X18 Y17 killing Plasmoids with Busy status set.

I have grave news, It turns out that not only do autonomous bots exist but they are apparently capable of detecting a gm and answering questions, as well as custom pathfinding to avoid players, jump over obstacles, and more.

Supposedly its undetectable outside of asking the bot weird questions that no one could have prepared for.

Knowing this... I don't know what to say, GM's need to be more aggressive, no more cookie-cutter questions, GM's checking new players, a system needs to be in place to detect automatically players who have been gathering/killing for over 24hrs.

There seems to be nothing we as customers can do except sit back and accept it.

As furious as this makes me, I have stuff to do, I'll be taking my leave from this issue.

Wait, what?! But what about the DoH and DoL players who play to be rich in-game? That wouldn't be fair for them. Yeah, gil sellers and botters make it harder for them, but being able to buy gil in the cash shop would totally ruin the game for them.

Found these guys hiding behind a building in Western Thanalan (X22 Y15) porting in and out of dungeons every couple of minutes. Makes me wonder how many are doing this that you can't see because they port to inaccessible parts of the map.



The Uldah main aetheryte is lighting up like a christmas tree with teleport hacking (I presume) BLM's appearing and disappearing into dungeons.

Another bot I've reported for months and still not banned [Tonberry, Eastern Thanalan X25 Y25]. Every piece of his spiritbond gear was made by the same person so SE if you want to ban both....

Yeah theres loads of these doing this on moogle, you can't find the majority of them ingame because they've teleported to places you can't get to. Quick search of THM and BLM at 50 for GMS/task force and teleport to their location is all it should need.
