Nobody is crying because hunts aren't as profitable as before, stop putting words in one's mouth. But, if you look at all tomestone sources and the uses of theses tomestones, 2.3 was way easier than 2.4.
And if you add that the Animus is now even more useless due to the i110 weapon being mainstream, you should understand why that's completly illogical.
