    This and only this. Many are still stuck at T5 =D You can count a year or two before they clear T9 (if not carry with gil). People have less and less patience too, 6 hours after 2.4 came up, you could already see: NO LEARNER in PF for shiva, and 12 hours after 2.4 came up, people was shouting: Shiva for sell 10m.

    The game design/mechanic was turning real toxic. So ya, i can understand why DEV are slowing down on mechanic.

    I get the feeling that most of you people aren't even doing final coil to make such terrible and blatantly false judgments about it's design.

    On a different note I'll like to say congrats to the OP! Just last week you apparently hadn't downed t9 according to your post on the Cactaur forums so to clear t9, t10 and t11 in one week is very impressive!

    I haven't gone into FCoB yet myself but in talking to people that are near clearing it, I get this feeling that FCoB was designed in a way to be clearable by people who are able to get statics but aren't super crazy hardcore into raiding either. For people that really want the hardest challenge possible, there's savage coil. Apparently, savage coil is far more unforgiving mechanics wise and requires people to always be at the top of their game. That kind of difficulty only caters to a MINUSCULE amount of players. Gating the best gear behind that level of difficulty would make it impossible for 99% of the population to even get past the first turn. Rather, SE has chosen a middle ground where the content is designed to be difficult for us average joes but easily doable by those in the top end statics. For the top end statics, SE gives them savage coil to play in.

    FCoB is the same as the rest of coil. Savage just made the "first" type groups a lot better and so they cleared it way faster.

    I think this has a lot of influence on it too. Savage was already harder than second coil, and probably harder than some - maybe ALL - of final.

    Haven't touched FCoB yet, though I do welcome encounters that encourages more on output from the players (healing and damage) rather than over emphasis on mechanics...especially ones that require delicate timing on dps for phasing (cough T7 cough). It's just terrible game design for a encounter to be harder (or adding more checks, like watching so you don't overdps) as you progress in gear.

    IMHO, second coil doesn't have a middle ground (or specifically T9 and leaning onto T7, maybe); it already targets high end players especially with the saturation of precise-mechanics that has a player combusting their entire party otherwise.

    Undertuned overly simple content is a bitch.

    2 weeks was WAY too fast. 5 days is just a joke.

    all 2.0 has shown us is they have no ability to tune content and will instead just feed the casuals whatever they want. Hanging around until the expansion hoping they get their stuff together but with each patch that is looking more and more like wishful thinking

    All this crying over how one of the best free companies in the game beat the latest difficult content, with a box of fully melded iL110 crafted gear... Sounds a bit like Iron Man there. You get the idea. Smart players in smartly made gear, sounds legit. People are just hurt that these awesome players didn't farm those turns beforehand. But really, why would they if they didn't have to? Not saying the people doing all the crying suck, but crying about it isn't going to invalidate their clear or make anyone a better player.
