I gotta admit I was really digging Iceheart in this patch. Part of me hopes she comes back to play a bit more of a prominent role (I wouldn't mind her as companion if they ever care to make it so we aren't stuck to just a chocobo). I feel like there's more to her than we saw this patch and I want to see more.

Like I said, she definitely does. Recently the dialogue files were datamined from patch 2.4 and 2.5. Only names are shown, no actual lines. Iceheart is included in 2.5 as well.

Milala kind of angered me, but in a GOOD way. I WANTED her to get taken down a peg, which to me is a sign of good writing.
She had actual personality, which is something missing from a lot of the class quests.
Tsubame kind of disappointed me, though. She's one of the the most authentic ninja I've ever seen, as she only dons the ninja duds during combat situations, but she doesn't have much in the way of an indicative personality. She's close to Oboro and is highly regarded in her village, but not much else is known.
I get the feeling the Ninja quests are laying the groundwork for expanded class/job quests in 3.0.
V'kebe was also fun. I want her outfit so bad. But it's expen$ive.
