    Imp Minion(spoilers 2.4)

    I just love the cute little imp(Kappa) You turn into during the Ultros fight
    It would be really awesome to have these little guys running around with us on our adventure! Does anyone else feel this way?

    Which also aren't imps, just some kind of monster/spirit from the rivers, and they super kawaiiiii in the game, +1 for a Kappa minion !

    They call them imps in this game because it's based the Imp status effect from VI, which turned the player into a kappa. Back then, Square didn't think an English-speaking audience would know what a kappa was, so they renamed it.
