Aurora FC Seeking SMN or BLM for Coil 3 progression

T9 down 8/21/14!

Howdy! Aurora is a social Free Company with an excellent static raid team! We've had 6-9 on farm for just over two months now and can clear these turns in under 1.5 hours!

Immediate Needs:
-One Monk or Ninja

Raid Times:
Friday 8-11PM EST
Saturday 8-11PM EST
Sunday 6-9PM EST

Requirements
-Item Level 106 or above
-The ability to listen in on Teamspeak, Microphone is a plus!
-Have a T9 clear or experience into phase 4.
-No elitists or bad attitudes. We're all friends who have been playing together for months here. Yes, we want to clear content, but when *it* hits the fan, we're still family and will act as such.

Loot Rules:
- Need > Greed except for the following circumstances:
- Tomes/Oils/Sands (Any tokens moving forward into 2.4) - Each person is allowed one of these until all raid members have obtained one. As an example, if a Sand drops and Billy-Joe wins, then Billy-Joe would be unable to roll on another Sand for 7 weeks or until the other 7 members of the raid team have obtained one from Coil. In this instance, however, Billy-Joe could still roll on Tomes and Oils as they are separate and each have their own lists but are done in the same manner.
- Each person is permitted to name one job as their "Alt-Job" job. When an item goes to "Greed" then the people with that class as their named "Alt-Job" may roll Greed on it. If there are no "Alt-Job" for that item then it becomes open Greed. For example: If a DRG Spear drops, then any Dragoons would have first dibs. Then if one person has it named as their "Alt-Job" they would gain priority. The third spear would then become Open Greed.


What to Expect from your Application
-As we are primarily as social/family Free Company, you will first undergo an individual screening to see if you would make a good fit into our community.
-If approved your raid performance will be tested in Coil 2 prior to joining a progression Coil 3 run.
-We will work with you to make sure your rotation and stat priorities are accurate.
-Upon Approval after a screening + raid performance test, Free Company membership is mandatory to reserve a permanent slot within the raid team.

Everyone in the Free Company understands that real life comes first and we have zero issues with this. If you cannot make a scheduled run, just give an Officer prior notice. The sooner the better so that we may have time to adapt.

Attendance Policy:
-Three "No-Shows" or absences without Officer notice will place you on Probation.
-One "No-Show" on Probation will flag your slot for replacement.
-If you have an emergency and there is no time to notify an Officer then contact one as soon as you are able to ensure the absence is not listed as a "No-Show"

I would be interested. I have a 110 SMN with all my BIS already obtained. The only problem is I have not yet completed T9 and sadly do not have phase 4 experience. I've been part of a raid group for 5 weeks now and out of the 20 or so raid nights, we have not been the full 8 of us more than 3 times so this has led to very little opportunity for T9. I learn very quick (cleared X primals after only watching a video and downed 6, 7, 8 on the second night of attempts). I take instruction very well and feel comfortable I could successfully down T9 quite quickly with a great group such as yours. If this is acceptable I'd love to talk more.

As I would have to transfer servers, I would be happy to create a temp toon on your server to chat longer or more in depth. Please let me know, tired of being behind on content :S

Sadly, Excalibur currently holds a character creation restriction. I'm unsure if this would apply to transfers as well. However, I will try again tomorrow for sure. If at all possible, would a representative be able to create a temp toon on Jenova and hunt me down? I can keep my toon online all day and have my settings set that I'll hear a tell or message so I can make sure to check (most likely I'll be playing anyway). At the very least perhaps that way we could exchange teamspeak or mumble info and chat through that.

I made a character on your server a short time ago to speak with you but you were not online when I searched for you. We have filled the SMN position in our Static group but I would like to inform you that we do accept Social members at all times! We run things nightly in the FC as a group and you'd be more than welcome to join. We've been farming SCoB and Shiva EX. On a night when we farm T9 you'd be welcome to join us and we'll teach you if you need any help learning anything. You'd be welcome to join our community if you personally wanted to change to our server. In regards to making a character on our server, the best time to do so is early morning when there aren't so many people online. The people in our FC with alts all made their second character early morning. So give that a shot If you're able to get a character created on our server, I look forward to speaking with you.

Ah dang! I fished all day and checking here every hour to keep an eye. Only time I stopped was when I was running T9 which is when your message came in! Oh well, I'm glad you filled your spot.
