Erase Rank-Reset on GC-Swap & Enable FC FL Queueing

Just make PVP Rank character-specific, not tied to GC.

I was Rank 36 at 2.3 release, asking me to reset my Rank just to be able to play with my friends who were in a different GC is ludicrous.

We should have the freedom to individually be in whatever GC we wish (I only like Maelstrom, my friend only likes Adders, we shouldn't be forced to switch to FL with one another) which leads me to my next point...

Let us queue for FL according to our FC-GC Affiliation (at minimum).

If you're going to restrict us by GC, at least let us queue up according to FC-GC.

This way at least the FC can FL together even if players don't wish to change personal GC.

Such a restrictive system is detrimental to both PVP & Social-Play (hallmark of MMOs).

The majority of players didn't want it to change, because they are moronic

Square enix don't care either way, PvP is an afterthought

Yeah, the rank reset is the real deal breaker. No way in hell am I regrinding the ranks. They should alteast offer some type of item we can uses to allow us to keep rank while switching - it can be something outrageous like a 40k GC seal or a 1700 allied seals item we buy that allows us to keep rank while we switch. Come on SE, throw us a friggin' bone here

In his defense, I doubt he's a win trader. He probably just grinded the shit out of that to gain ranks across GCs once FL came out. Many have done it.

Actually, it's not an excuse. Not switching GCs is neither a fault nor offense, so the reason for not doing it need not defend the action of not doing it, as would be required for the reason to be considered an excuse. It is a reason; nothing more, nothing less.

I've already been to hell and back explaining why the PvP ranks being tied to GCs is a bad idea from a game design standpoint, it both serving no realistic purpose and being unfun and seemingly-punishing to the player, so I'll just leave it at that. I don't like it being tied to GC.

No, I'm just assuming it's virtually impossible to be rank 40 or close with EVERY GC without having win-traded.
