Eh? It's not hard to make names and they could if they want. The point is it's intentional and to please the long-time fans of SE mmos.

But i mean, i'm a long time FF fan and besides the given names that are always there,
I dont want the same names otherwise. If a colorful judge's name is Kefka...not sure
how im going to feel about that. Similarities are good, but to much kills it for me.

I wouldn't worry about that, but I would expect the garlean commander guys to have names similar to XII's judges. We know there's another (or the same?) Legatus called "Nael Van Darnus".
