When you see someone overcharge for something on MB by 100k gil, the best thing you can do to keep them from selling it and taking advantage of someone is to place one for sale yourself, but listing it for 99k gil.

So then you take advantage of someone but for 1k less? That is the best thing you can do? Really? If you feel the need to be the hero in that situation, the best thing you can do is put one up for sale at the same price the NPC sells it for plus the 5% cost to sell it. That way you aren't making a profit by taking advantage of someone and neither are they.

Plus then if the person that originally put it on MB for 100k more drops their price below yours they end up losing gil for their effort.
