Did 2.4 give us a clue about Yugiri's race?

Anyone else under the impression that she might be Eorzra's form of a Burmecian (Freya from FFIX)? The ears and tail would fit I'd say.

Definitely a possibility. I've narrowed my speculation down to Burmecian, some form of Gira or an entirely original draconian race.

I'm almost certain those are ears and not horns. Freya had more distinct features that could not be hidden even with Yugiri's current garb. The sharp nose, wide feet not to mention the shape. Yugiri is very humanoid and I think the OP is on to something with her being half dragon half human. It's also fitting because of the expansion.

They wouldn't give those larger features to a PC, regardless of the animal it's based on. For a rat, they would most likely shorten the snout and normalize the hands and feet. Think Miq'ote with a sharp, turned-up nose, longer, more flacid ears and a tail covered in scales in stead of fur. Easy.

My fingers are crossed for a dragon race though, for sure.

Ya those are definitely ears. Im at the part of the new main story quest where she shows up in Coerthas. And her ears are blowing around like crazy. Back and forth. Definitely not horns. Those are floppy ears.

Not saying they aren't ears, but being a placeholder model that could have been unintended.
