You miss that buff from Raiton that allow use of sneak/trick attack without hide.

Doesn't really seem fair to compare listed monk potency with rogue/ninja, monk has the attack power buffs and incredible skill speed.. I mean you'd think DRG would out dps Monk if you're just looking at potency but it obviously doesn't play out that way.. It looks like ninja will have buffs and speed boost, if it gets the best of both then maybe it will be stronger than monk.. I think it's still too early to tell, though..
It's not broken, ninja was always like this and it got changed into tanking because he could also hold hate. Blame Yoshi for putting labels on jobs so that players couldn't play them however they wanted like Ff11.
Omg stfu and enjoy the class for once would you. Its a good new class its what we have all been waiting for. Can you people just say thank you and enjoy the game instead of over analizing every freaking thing.
GEICO Did You Know - Bad news doesn't always travel fast
I tried hiding and sneaking up to a boss in satashas. ... He can still see you, broke my hide the instant I got in agro range. So you can't use sneak/trick attack on bosses it seems.
Can someone test it for me as well?
U can sneak thru most pf the dungeon. Tried it and laughed so hard cuz we ran a copperbell run with 4 nins. I believe special enemies i.e gatekeepers and bosses have true sight.
But u can still goof around being all invisible and stuff around mobs :3
Had to do some digging to realize you were talking about Suiton.
We'll have to see how it functions in actual execution to see if it's actually overpowered. I still find myself doubting it plays as broken as it is implied by the base. However, even if it is, they've had a pretty good adjustment track record so far. They'll likely bring other classes up in line by Spring.
How about OP gets past rogue level 15 before starts complaining about how OP he/she thinks it is. Maybe try playing it at 50, getting fully geared and mastering the skill set then seeing how it is instead of guessing...
The monk might not have the same potencies, but the monk does have extra damage from GL, Fists of FIre, and Twin Snakes, whereas Rogue only has Venom, and that's all she wrote outside of cooldowns. Monk also has access to 30% crit bonus from Internal release. Monk also has much better access to defensive utility--if things go sour a monk has quite a few ways to stall while the healer rezzes the tank. The Ninja can... use worse versions of the Monk tools. On the other hand, Ninjas have superior offensive utility, and that's cool.
