So did you use the Exit Bobbin or use leave from DF list? It seems they have gotten a bit crazy with this. I am even wary of selecting withdraw from the duty finder status window. Like if I have been sitting there for the 20 mins and nothing is happening with 0/0/2. If I hit withdraw before it pops and is looking will get penalized?

You don't get penalized for dropping out before the begin dungeon pop up appears, you only get penalized if withdraw more than 3 times when that window is up or when ditch a run without using end of dungeon exit feature, vote kick or vote abandon.
