Lol extortion, nah my boss who makes 12 million per year and is required to pay $15k per month in child support because of threats from legal officials, he knows what extortion is.

Y'all realize that the dictionary isn't the be-all end-all of using a word right, right? We still have "gay" listed as meaning "lighthearted and carefree". Extortion is a very specific legal term in modern parlance. Are we also gonna defend using the phrase "solid d*ck" because it's 1950's slang for "straight talk"?

The legal definition of extortion is much more complicated. And wrongly claiming it's being done is also termed as slander.

I don't understand what you are saying here. Did you confuse yourself? AFAIK there is NO optional content being offered in Ca$h $hop, only OPTIONAL ITEMS...

If you don't want them, then don't buy them. OMG...don't even go tot he store. Are they pushing the shop down your throat? No, they announced it and that is all. Your cancelling your sub is doing nothing. They will be in no way affected by your decision.

People need to stop throwing a tantrum over this and play or leave, that simple...well once the servers are fixed ^.^

please, people, look at some of the previous posts. both of these points have been brought up no less than 300 times a piece, and have been discussed to death.

I liked the restaurant analogy from 10 pages ago the best. The game is like a Chinese buffet. Your sub buys you a seat at the table and a standard meal of what is on the buffet lines. additionally, there is now an a-la-carte menu available to you for an additional cost, if you want something special.

Interesting that you used the fat chocobo as the example rather than the Coeurl. The fat choco was given to me much later than the Coeurl and at no extra cost.
