Huh, I woke up, had 5 minutes of login trouble, and managed to get the one I wanted (with 15 minutes of wandering the new subdivisions and scoping the view. Maybe it's just me.

It's not just you or just OP, our server (Diabolos) is not as stacked as Balmung, when 2.38 came out our small plots filled at like 1/10 the speed of Balmung, if I recall correctly Balmung and I think Excalibur ran out in a matter of minutes.

Yea, may be true now that you mention it. Either way, I'm not lost on the irony of angry uninterest I 'spose.

No need to be so belligerent. I'm very interested in the housing feature, and want a house very badly. If you can read, what I said was (emphasis added):

I am not even interested in buying a house for myself this patch; but I am saddened again by this 'feature'.

So better luck next time. As to your personal experience, glad to hear that you, on your server, had no problems and got what you wanted. However, other servers had problems, and other people (lots of them) didn't get what they wanted. Hence the complaint.

In a way, you're proving my point. Glad you are one of the lucky few who got a house that you wanted, while legions of other players--with saved-up gil, desire, and willingness--stand with their hands empty.
