    I love how people complain that Arcanist/Smn is just a "Dot bot" or a warlock clone, when in actuality it is one of the most complex classes in the game. While the basic rotation may seem simple, dps maximization on that class is quite the opposite, requiring very precise timings and or decent ping.

    No one complained on SMN not being fun, or not being a good DPS or not being a good DOT. The whole idea is about the visuals and job type (DOT Based). This incase you missed the point of the huge topics on this forum.

    I love SMN how it is now, the visual representation for SMNs is explained via lore.

    So "fun" just not what you want? That is the issue. It's a small, but vocal minority asking for several different things, trying to make Summoner what they individually want regardless of how it would impact others or game balance.

    The developers basically said, in regards to SMN egis, "Functioning as intended. Closing issue."

    On another note, have you ever tried doing an S rank/Odin/Behemoth hunt on a slow PC or a PS3, when there's 30+ characters on screen? You literally NEVER see the hunt mark because it doesn't load. Now, imagine that with bigger egis.

    The one thing I would consider as a developer is allowing the Summoners a high level skill to unleash the primal currently being used. Of course it would be very brief, go on a lengthy cooldown, and not be some kind of "I win" button. Just an awesome looking spell where the primal pops out, does something flashy, and leaves. Anything more than that would be asking a bit much. Do tell me I'm silly if this is already a thing.

    You could do this with Spur and Rouse.
