Opening and Ending Actions Faster Than the Animation Sounds

Should a member of the Final Fantasy XIV development team find this, I would just like to report that, as of patch 1.16, when pulling out or putting away one's fishing rod, the animation and sounds are not synchronized.

Unless we are meant to be fishing faster than the speed of sound, this is just a minor aesthetic that should be addressed in the future.

Hmm I didn't notice this. But I have sound disabled completely via the CONFIG menu atm. I am sure they will get this adjusted soon. It must feel like a badly dubbed movie? lol

Hey! why do you have the sound muted? Tell me your watching netflix via your xbox while fishing and Ill fall on the floor. Love the fishin in this game, great for the average multi tasker

I run a 3 monitor set up and am often working while fishing so the sound got to me a long time ago.

The inability to turn down the background/environmental sounds made it impossible not to mute the game entirely, when trying to also have something different going on, on a second screen.

Yep, I turned mine off for the same reasons as Purplenv.

I love multi-tasking. Multiple moniters ftw! I do the same though, I kill the game volume and jam netflix or surf web on other screen. Speaking of which, I recall having FFXIV crash when in full screen mode, every time I clicked on the other moniter to surf the web. Why does that happen. I cant try it out to see if they remedied it because Im 5000 mile away from my beautiful PC ; ;

Yeah I dual monitor myself, multi-tasking hehe. Always nice to have the ability to do that.
