Meh, only thing (which is rather large) I don't care for about Nexus is how I'm pigeonholed into staying that job while farming lights. Atma you can farm on any job with zenith. Animus you can gather the currency for the books as any job. Novus you can gather the alexandrite as any job. Nexus... you're stuck.

I have a PLD Novus I'm gathering lights for, and frankly it sucks that I feel obliged to do everything on PLD. It feels wasteful if I'm needed to go on another job. Kinda wish that we could get a lesser amount of light on eligible encounters for all soulglazed relics in inventory as well as full/bonus light for the one equipped.

I've definitely noticed the pigeon-holed thing and it's had a big impact on Frontlines; people won't change to a needed job because they want lights. I've had full alliances with 1-3 healers.

Enjoy it. So far it has to be the best part of relic. 12 Atma parts, oh hell no and did that twice. Who ever thought that up should be...welll...ummm, use your imagination. Atma was the largest skills drain in the game. The 9 books, they were ok after I stopped rushing the myth grind. fun to do old content. fate wait could have been better and the 100 kills needs to go. Novus scroll. the easiest part ever handed to you. I did my daily ex roulette for a map every day and bought extra maps. didn't go out of my way and had a fun time on both novus that I did. Nexus, slowing down but we run meaning ful content we run anyway to upgrade our weapon. Finally a smart idea on actually usig our relic and doing something meaningful. Sure you could grind it out but what is the rush? Sit back and enjoy every part of relic that isn't farming the 12 atma parts. XD

Come Tuesday, Snowcloak, Satasha HM and Sunken Temple HM should be giving blinding base. Along with getting blinding from T6-T8 it should only take 125 to 166 runs to get all 2000 light for a Nexus in comparison to the 500 to 2000 trails people were previously doing.

The whole relic process could use a review. The original steps were fine, but everything after has just been monotonus grind.

Atma: RNG with low drop rates. At least it's getting "fixed" (but not really, doubling an already tiny drop rate isn't exactly doing much)
Atma books: Sitting around for an hour+ waiting for FATES to spawn (they purposefully chose only FATES with incrediably long spawn timers) AND having to do dungeons with incrediably long queue timers. Because everyone loves sitting around staring at nothing until a queue/FATE pops, right?
Novus: Ok, this part is tolerable. You get 1 free alex every day, and can get others somewhat painlessly. It feels just about the right amount of grind, and doesn't force you to sit around doing nothing, and doesn't strangle you with RNG.
Nexus: ...And then we take a nosedive right back into RNG (ie: waiting for bonus on good fights) AND a mountain of grind.

It's not fun. it's boring grind.

Maybe one day the relic quest will be engaging and have unique challenges and fights created for it like the first relic quest, meanwhile enjoy your rehashed content over and over to strategically siphon you until old content to make it appear populated for new and returning players.
