Joking aside I had pretty much the same train of thoughts with the "Dark Knight" T-shirt on then revealing the 007 shirt, it's been a while but if I remember right Al-Cid Margrace in Final Fantasy Tactics A2 was the Agent class, used a gun and had a lot of Support abilities and was what my mind sprung to.

That's too much of a niche class I'd say. There are so many more wanted jobs out there.

If the AGENT is the end result, I took the info from Tactics A2 and translated it into what we may expect:

Escort -- Brief defensive boost to a single target.
Fawn -- Grants AoE regen and a brief resistance to all status effects (including instant-death moves)
Enchant -- Boosts a single target's Determination.
Interrogate -- Shows a target's treasure, items, and gil. Also reveals invisible enemies and traps.
Succor -- Restore HP and removes status effects.
Impassion -- Grants Berserk to a single target and raises Critical Hit rate.
Flourish -- Ranged attack (chaos based?)
Reckless Abandon -- Ranged Damage and lowers target's Speed.

So what would they queue up as then? Tank, DPS, or Healer? Also with that line of thinking then the Batman reference would have been Detective. Key words were Golden and Gun.

More seriously, multiple jobs linked in a way with primals wouldn't be a problem. Let it just not be the same way you can channel their primals-magics and add some #new-lore, mixing it with musketeer guild and arcanist guild and voila you get a new job that no one would had think about :P, everything is possible... It's called Final Fantasy for a reason ^.^;
